The Panthers were defeated by the North Carolina Tar Heels 35-28 in their last outing. The 49ers are coming off of a loss to the Maryland Terrapins by the score of 56-21. Shadrick Byrd carried the ball 11 times for 38 yards. He caught one pass for four yards. Elijah Spencer caught four passes on seven targets for 98 yards (24.5 yards per reception).
The Panthers are 19.5-point favorites in their matchup against the 49ers. The over/under is 60.5 points.
