Bowl season'is underway after an exciting 2022 college football campaign. One successful program taking part in the postseason once again is the Georgia Southern Eagles, who will'face Buffalo in the Camellia Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 27.'

Georgia Southern Bowl Game History
Georgia Southern is a recent participant when it comes to the college football postseason. The Eagles have played in four bowls across the school's history (all since 2015) prior to facing Buffalo.
The Eagles made their first bowl appearance in 2015 as a part of the Mid-American Conference. They ended up picking up a 58-27 blowout win tie against Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl that year.
Including the 2022 campaign, Georgia Southern has qualified for bowls in five of the last eight seasons. The Eagles were victorious in their last effort, tallying a 38-3 win over Louisiana Tech at the 2020 New Orleans Bowl.
