Georgia at Mississippi State – 11/12/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

We’ll receive a battle of Bulldogs when Georgia travels to Stark Vegas to take on Mississippi State from Davis Wade Stadium this weekend on ESPN. The SEC misses a branding opportunity not matchup these two schools up more often, but Georgia and Mississippi State have met sporadically over the years, with UGA holding a 19-6 all-time series lead.

Georgia is 9-0 after defeating Tennessee in Week 9. The Bulldogs became the undisputed champions of college football in a rare one-vs-one matchup with a humbling victory over the Vols, outscoring them 24-6 in the first half, en route to a 14-point win. The Dawgs now sit comfortably atop both rankings, with a 90-minute trip to Atlanta within point blank range. Georgia is scoring 40.1 points per game, while passing for 320.2 yards per game (14th) and rushing for 194.2 ypg (58th). The Georgia defense is allowing just 10.7 points, which is good for third in the entire nation.

Stenson Bennett silenced a lot of noise last weekend, as he led UGA to another high-magnitude victory. The veteran quarterback tossed a pair of touchdowns for the third week in a row, and pranced into the endzone for his sixth rushing score of the season, all in the first half versus the Vols. He’ll look to keep the momentum going here.
