The Georgetown Hoyas (6-20, 12-13 ATS, 13-12 O/U) meet with the Seton Hall Pirates (15-11, 14-11 ATS, 10-14 O/U) in a Big East battle on Tuesday evening. The Hoyas lost a home decision against Marquette on Saturday. The Pirates were dealt a road loss by Villanova in their previous action. Seton Hall posted a 66-51 road win against Georgetown in the first meeting.

The Georgetown Hoyas remain at only one conference victory on the season. They defeated DePaul in their lone Big East victory late last month but have since lost five games in a row. Georgetown covered in a 74-62 road loss to Providence last Wednesday but were 11-point dogs in an 89-75 home loss against Marquette on Saturday to dip to 1-14 in conference play. The Hoyas have been marked with large spreads and have covered in seven of their last ten games. 

Primo Spears has been inconsistent recently. The sophomore guard has shot below 38% in four consecutive games after scoring only eight points on Saturday. He is averaging 15.9 PPG on the season. Brandon Murray scored 16 points in the recent loss to Providence. The sophomore guard has been productive and has logged an average of 14.5 PPG. Jay Heath has scored double-digits in two of his last three gam es. The junior guard has filed an average of 12.6 PPG on 43% shooting.

The Hoyas are ranked 210th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and have yet to win on the road where they are 0-9 on the season. Georgetown has scored 62 or fewer points in three of their last four games and is scoring an average of 70.9 points on the season, marking them 190th. They are conceding an average of 77.5 points, pegging them 349th.
