They are just 2.5 games behind first place Virginia Commonwealth so they can't afford to lose any games if they want to keep pace. The Colonials snapped a three game losing streak on Wednesday with a thrilling 107-105 double overtime win over Richmond.

Brendan Adams led George Washington with 35 points, including six in the second overtime period, along with six assists. Adams had a ridiculous 9 three pointers. James Bishop added 33 points, going 13 for 23 from the floor. He also had 10 assists. The two accounted for two third of the Colonials points. Ricky Lindo added 18 points and13 rebounds while Maximus Edwards scored 11 points. George Washington is ranked No. 215th in the country in the KenPom rankings.
