The George Washington Revolutionaries are on the road as they take the trip to face the South Carolina Gamecocks Friday night. George Washington comes in off an 81-71 win over Delaware in their previous contest Sunday in their final game of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. South Carolina dropped Notre Dame 65-53 at home Tuesday night, covering the line as a 7.5-point favorite in the contest. In the all-time series between the schools, the Gamecocks own a 7-6 advantage but the Revolutionaries rolled to a 79-55 home win in their most recent matchup on November 30, 2022.

George Washington bounced back from their first loss of the season as they took down Delaware in their final game of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship Sunday. The Revolutionaries improved to 6-1 on the season and look to earn a win over a Power Five school here. Against Delaware, George Washington trailed by as many as 16 in the first half and by 13 at halftime before getting into gear. The Revolutionaries still trailed by seven with 7:59 to play before going on a 13-2 run that gave them a 66-62 advantage with 4:25 to go. They never let the Blue Hens closer than two after that en route to the win. George Washington shot 52.6% from the field, including five of 17 from three-point range, and 16 of 19 at the free throw line in the game. James Bishop IV led the Revolutionaries with 28 points in the win.

On the season, the Revolutionaries are 32nd in the nation in scoring offense with 84. 7 points per game this season. George Washington pulls down an average of 40.6 rebounds per game and hands out an average of 12.3 assists per contest. The Revolutionaries are 228th in scoring defense this season by allowing 73.4 points per game. James Bishop IV leads the team with 20.9 points plus 5.1 assists per contest this season.
