One way or another, a winning streak is set to end on Wednesday night. The George Washington Colonials (15-14, 14-14-0 ATS, 9-7 A-10) will put theirs on the line against the Davidson Wildcats (14-14, 14-13-0 ATS, 7-9 A-10). The last time these teams met was February 2022, with the Wildcats walking away victorious. That's a common occurrence in this series, with Davison holding an 8-3 edge in the head-to-head matchups all time. When George Washington heads south to Davidson, North Carolina, they'll be looking to reverse their fortune. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST in Davidson's John M. Belk Arena.
Overtime wins in New York, and Rhode Island preceded the Colonials' victory over Philly's La Salle for a third consecutive win. The final was closer than the actual game, as George Washington took a 20-point lead with 3:14 remaining and easily covered as 3.0-point favorites. For a fourth straight game, James Bishop IV had a 20-point performance, ending the night with game-highs in points with 29 and assists with nine.

This will be the Colonials' final away game, and they should be a bit relieved. They're only 4-6 on the road, compared to 11-5 at home this season. George Washington is playing well lately though, and they should get used to winning if they want to keep their season alive. At 217th nationally per KenPom, you won't see George Washington dancing unless they win the A-10 Tournament.
George Washington leads the A-10 in scoring this season, using their uptempo style to score 76.6 a night. That includes three straight games with at least 80 points. Despite poor team shooting from deep, only draining 32.8% of threes, the Colonials shoot 47.4% from the floor as a unit. That's the 37th-highest clip in the country.
Too bad they give it right back, allowing an A-10-worst 76.7 points per game. It's not just because of their tempo either. They're 13th in the conference in opponent three-point percentage, 35.0 %, and field goal percentage, 44.7%.
