George Mason saw their two-game win streak snapped and suffered their fourth loss in six games as they were knocked off by Saint Joseph’s on the road. The Patriots fell to 15-6 overall and stand tied for fifth in the Atlantic 10 with a 4-4 mark in conference play. Against Saint Joseph’s, George Mason trailed by as many as five and led by as many as four in the first half before trailing by two at intermission. The Patriots led by four with 6:29 remaining in the game and took their last lead with 3:33 remaining at 67-66: they gave up the next six points to trail 72-67 and never got even again. George Mason shot 45.9% from the field, including 10 of 27 from three-point range, and allowed Saint Joseph’s to shoot 50.9% in the contest. Keyshawn Hall led the Patriots with 19 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
