The Furman Paladins will make the 45-minute trip to Spartansburg to take on the Wofford Terriers in Southern Conference play from Richardson Stadium on ESPNU. This will mark the 55th time Wofford and Furman face off, and the Terriers hold an all-time series lead of, 32-22.

Furman improved to 14-6 after defeating Chattanooga on the road. The Paladins wore the Mocs down, and left Tennessee with an eight-point victory. Furman scores 81.7 points per game, while allowing 72.1 ppg, and shooting 49.3% from the floor.

Furman is off to a nice 5-2 start in conference play, but they’ll need to stay sharp if they want to stay within top two places schools Samford and UNC Greensboro. The Paladins possess one of the top offensive units in the nation again this season, and their led by fifth-year veteran Mike Bothwell. The 6’3 guard has scored 22 points in back-to-back games, and he’s on pace to lead Furman for the third season in a row with a career-high 19.7 ppg. Fellow longtime Paladin Jalen Slawson double-doubled against UNCG, and he leads the team in rebounding (7.1), while scoring 15.2 ppg. Junior guard Marcus Foster scored 25 points in the win over Mercer, and he’s averaging 11.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
