The Furman Paladins will head up to Raleigh and face the North Carolina State Wolfpack in non-conference action this Tuesday from the PNC Arena on the ACC Network.

Furman improved to 7-3 with a win over Winthrop in Greenville. The Paladins used a big second half to jump back into the win column with a 12-point victory over the Eagles. Furman scores 82.3 points per game, while shooting 50.4% from the floor, and 34.7% from deep. The one-two punch of fifth-years veterans Mike Bothwell (20.1 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.6 apg) and Jalen Slawson (15.5 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 3.9 apg) directs traffic for Furman. 

N.C. State fell to 7-3 with a road loss to Miami. The Wolfpack took a nine-point lead into the locker room, but failed to finish the mission and dropped to 0-2 in ACC play. N.C. State scores 81.2 points per game, while shooting 47.2% from the floor, and 35.6% from deep. Ole Miss transfer Jarkel Joiner has combined for 55 points in the last two games, and he leads the charge for N.C. State, averaging 17.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg, and 3.3 apg.
