Fresno State Bulldogs (7-13) vs. Wyoming Cowboys (6-14)

The 2022-23 college basketball season continues Tuesday, January 31, with the Fresno State Bulldogs taking on the Wyoming Cowboys in the Mountain West Conference showdown at Arena Auditorium in Laramie, Wyoming.  

The Bulldogs open as small 2.5-point road underdogs with a total of 129.0 points. They meet the Cowboys for the second time this season, and Fresno State beat Wyoming 58-53 as a 1-point home dog on December 28, 2022. 

The Fresno State Bulldogs (7-13; 6-13 ATS; 3-6 conf.) have dropped five of their last six games overall including the previous two at Boise State 63-53 and to Utah State 70-53. Last Saturday, the Bulldogs hosted the Aggies as 4.5-point underdogs and suffered a heavy loss. Fresno State shot just 34.5% from the field (7-for-23 from deep) and posted an underwhelming 8/6 assist-to-turnover ratio. 

Junior forward Isaih Moore and senior guard Jemarl Baker accounted for 11 points apiece against Utah State. Moore also had eight rebounds, while senior guard Isaiah Hill notched nine points and a couple of boards and assists. Now, Moore is tallying 12.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, and Hill is adding 10.4 points and 3.5 assists a night.

Fresno State is No. 186 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 162 in the KenPom rankings. The Bulldogs allow 99.7 points per 100 possessions (82nd in the nation) but score just 100.1 points in return (274th). They make only 6.0 triples per game (314th) on an awful 28.5 percentage clip (356th) while handing out 11.3 assists (318th).
