The Fresno State Bulldogs and San Jose State Spartans face off on Tuesday in a college basketball showdown at the Event Center Arena. When these two teams faced off in March it was Fresno State that secured a 69-67 in overtime.
Fresno State comes into this game with a 5-9 record and they have gone 2-4 against the spread. The biggest issue for this Fresno State team has been inconsistency and the last two games have been a perfect example. Two games ago against a ranked New Mexico team they were able to secure a 71-67 victory. In the last game against Colorado State, Fresno State only scored 57 points, and that led to the 22-point victory. On the other side of this matchup is San Jose State who sits with an 11-6 record and they have gone 11-5 against the spread. In the last game against Nevada the offense really struggled scoring only 40 points and that led to the 27-point victory. San Jose State is averaging 67.7 points while their defense is giving up 65.7 points per game. In the last game the offense was so bad, and they need the offense to be better here. Omari Moore is averaging 15.1 points while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from behind the three point line.
