Fresno State at New Mexico – 2/28/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Fresno State Bulldogs will fly to Albuquerque to face the New Mexico Lobos in Mountain West play from The Pit. Fresno State holds a slim series lead of, 19-17, after winning the last seven meetings.

Fresno State fell to 10-18 after losing to Nevada at home. The Bulldogs brawled with the Wolf Pack for 40 minutes, but they’d end up falling by four, 60-56. Air Force in Colorado Springs. Fresno State suffered their third straight loss of four points or less, and it pretty much summed up their season, as they’ve just been one step behind the growingly competitive conference. The Bulldogs are 6-11 in MWC play, with a 4-8 road record. The Bulldogs lean on the defensive end, and they’ve been held back by pedestrian offensive play. Senior guard Isaiah Hill paced FSU with 22 points in the win over Air Force, and he now leads the team in scoring (12.4) and assists (3.7).  Fellow veteran guard Jemarl Baker is second on the team at 11.5 ppg. Leading rebounder Isaih Moore has been missed over the last five games, and he is set to miss this road bout as well.
