MLB: St. Louis Cardinals ML (-115) over Colorado Rockies, 3:10 pm ET
Milwaukee's recent slump has allowed St. Louis to steal the top spot in the NL Central, and they should be able to fend them off with a win in this finale. The Cardinals are also heading back to St. Louis for a weekend series against the Brew crew, making this game all the more important. The Rockies will start German Marquez on Thursday afternoon and while he has the ability to give them some solid innings, their bullpen is a huge flaw. For that reason, backing the Cardinals to end this series with a win will be the top play for Thursday afternoon.
