Four-pick cross-sport parlay for today 7/29 (+887 odds): MLB and MLS

We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including picks from the MLB and MLS. Three picks are taken from the MLB with one from the MLS. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +887 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let's break down each of these plays.

MLB: New York Mets ML (-120) over Miami Marlins, 6:35 pm ET

The Marlins are starting ace and NL Cy Young-favorite Sandy Alcantara on Friday. Despite Alcantara's dominance, he still has 4 losses on the season, 1 of which was against the Mets. His lineup simply doesn't provide him enough run support, which was perfectly put on display just 2 starts ago. Alcantara pitched 8.0 strong innings, striking out 12 Phillies batters just before the all-star break. However, Miami lost that game 2-1. They even nearly lost his last start to a mediocre Pirates team before barely winning in extra innings. Alcantara has allowed 4 or more runs just twice this season, with the most recent being against the Mets. He may very well win the NL Cy Young, but his team may very well lose this game.
