The ninth-seeded Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons will travel to Calihan Hall on Monday evening in the first round matchup in the Horizon League Championship to take on the eighth-seeded Detroit Mercy Titans. The Mastodons are 17-14 (9-11) so far this season and coming off a 78-61 road win on Saturday against the Green Bay Phoenix. The Titans are 13-18 (9-11) right now and are riding a two-game losing streak after an 82-71 home loss on Saturday against the Wright State Raiders. These teams faced off twice during the regular season with the Titans winning both games. 

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons have been doing pretty well and are coming off a 78-61 road win against the Green Bay Phoenix. They did well in the second half as they outscored the Phoenix 43-32. They shot the ball at a great level from three as they were 29-of-57 (50.9 percent) overall, 10-of-26 (38.5 percent) from three, and 17 free-throw attempts.
