The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons and the Cleveland State Vikings will face off on Friday evening in a Horizon League matchup at Wolstein Center. The Mastodons are 14-8 (6-5) so far and are coming off an 81-75 home win on Wednesday against the IUPUI Jaguars. The Vikings are 12-9 (7-3) right now and are coming off an 85-77 road win against the Wright State Raiders on Saturday. These teams faced off on Jan. 16 where Cleveland State picked up a 72-60 road win. 

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons have played very well and were able to pick up an 81-75 home victory against the IUPUI Jaguars. They were able to control the second half as they outscored IUPUI 41-35. They shot the ball from three as they were 23-of-62 (37.1 percent) overall, 13-of-34 (38.2 percent) from the three, and 28 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Deonte Billups led the team as in 33 minutes he finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Defensively, they were able to stop threes. They allowed 47.5 percent from the floor and 22.2 from deep here. Purdue Fort Wayne struggled a bit as they finished with six steals and one block throughout the game. 

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons are doing pretty well this season as they are 106th in the nat ion with 75.1 points per game thus far and shooting a decent 43.7 percent from the floor and are averaging 13.4 assists per game.
