The Fordham Rams are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Rhode Island Rams Wednesday night. Fordham was knocked off 57-43 at home by Davidson in their previous contest last Wednesday, losing outright as a narrow one-point favorite. Rhode Island was dropped 72-61 on the road by Duquesne Saturday in their most recent contest, failing to cover the line as a nine-point underdog. In the all-time series between the schools, Rhode Island owns a 39-29 advantage but it was Fordham claiming the most recent matchup 61-55 at home on February 2, 2022.

Fordham saw their 11-game win streak snapped as they were shut down at home by Davidson in their previous game last Wednesday. The Rams dropped to 12-2 on the year and stand 0-1 in the Atlantic 10 with the defeat. Against Davidson, Fordham struggled offensively all night and it cost them dearly. The Rams were down 29-14 at the half and couldn’t get closer than eight the rest of the way, with that coming with just over six minutes to play. Fordham shot just 25.4% from the field, including a miserable three of 31 from beyond the arc, and took a 50-31 beating on the glass in the contest. Rostyslav Novitskyi led the Rams with 12 points, six rebounds and five rejections in the loss.

The Rams are slightly above average on the offensive end of the floor as they are 154th in scoring offense with an average of 73.5 points per game. Fordham is decent on the glass as they pull down 36.9 rebou nds a night and are dishing out 13.3 assists per contest.
