Fordham will try to continue surging in the Atlantic 10 standings when it travels to Davidson on Saturday afternoon. The Rams have won six of their last seven games, beating UMass by 10 points on Wednesday. Davidson bounced back from a rough patch with a 93-78 win over UMass last Saturday.

Fordham got off to a fantastic start this season, winning 12 of its first 13 games, with its lone loss coming at then-No. 10 Arkansas in mid-November. The Rams proceeded to lose three of their first four conference games, including a 57-43 setback against Davidson at the end of December. They bounced back with a five-game winning streak before losing to Richmond last Sunday, but they got back on track with a 77-67 win against UMass on Wednesday. Fordham is in fourth place in the conference standings, sitting just one game back of VCU and Saint Louis for first place heading into Friday’s slate.

The Rams have been struggling offensively this season, ranked No. 250 in effective field goal percentage (48.9) and No. 291 in 3-point percentage (31.7). They are also dealing with severe turnover issues, listed at No. 236 in that category. Their strength has been at the charity stripe, knocking down more than 75% of their attempts. They are facing a Davidson defense that is No. 153 in field goal percentage. Senior guard Darius Quisenberry leads Fordham with 16.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, while senior forward Khalid Moore is adding 15.3 points and 6.6 boards. They are trying to snap a five-game losing skid in its last five trips to Davidson.
