The Florida State Seminoles (2-0) square off against a familiar opponent when they visit the Louisville Cardinals (1-1) on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Cardinal Stadium in an ACC clash.
In their last outing, the Seminoles won 24-23 over the LSU Tigers. The Cardinals’ last game was a 20-14 win over the UCF Knights. Against the Tigers, Jordan Travis led the Noles with 260 yards on 20-of-33 passing (60.6%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball eight times for 31 yards. Treshaun Ward totaled 49 rushing yards on 16 carries (3.1 yards per carry). He also had one catch for six yards. Ontaria Wilson had seven receptions for 102 yards (14.6 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Tigers. Micale Cunningham’s performance for the Cards against the Knights included 14-of-29 passing for 195 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed 17 times for 121 yards and one touchdown. Tiyon Evans carried the ball 19 times for 75 yards and one touchdown. He caught one pass for two yards. Tyler Hudson caught three passes for 67 yards (22.3 yards per catch).
The Cardinals should compete as underdogs (+2) in their matchup with the Seminoles (the game has a total of 54.5 points).
