The Florida State Seminoles are on the road as they make the trip to face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wednesday night. Florida State knocked off Georgia Tech 75-64 at home in their most recent game Saturday, covering the line as a 2.5-point favorite. Wake Forest took down Louisville 80-72 on the road Saturday, though they failed to cover the line as a nine-point favorite, in their previous contest. In the all-time series between the teams, the Seminoles own a 29-27 advantage but the Demon Deacons won both meetings last season. That includes a 68-60 road win in the most recent matchup on February 5, 2022.

Florida State took down Georgia Tech in their previous game at home for their fourth win in their last six games. The Seminoles improved to 5-11 on the year overall and stand part of a six-way tie for fourth in the conference with a 3-2 mark. Against Georgia Tech, Florida State trailed by nine just over four minutes into the game before clamping down defensively. The Seminoles outscored the Yellow Jackets 32-20 over the final 15:48 of the half to take a 39-36 lead at the half. Florida State opened the second half with a 16-4 run to take a 55-40 lead with 13:38 to play and never let the Yellow Jackets closer than 11 the rest of the way. The Seminoles shot 49.2% from the floor, including 10 of 25 from beyond the arc, and held Georgia Tech to 40.4% shooting in the contest. Matthew Cleveland led the Seminoles with 21 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

The Seminoles come into this contest averaging 69 po ints per game on the season, leaving them 250th in the country in the scoring offense department. Florida State pulls down 32.3 rebounds per game (320th) while handing out 13.7 assists per contest. The Seminoles are 290th in scoring defense as they allow 73.4 points per game on the year.
