We've got an ACC clash Saturday night as the North Carolina State Wolfpack host the Florida State Seminoles. The 14th ranked Wolfpack are 4-1 on the season and 0-1 in the ACC while the Seminoles are also 4-1 and 2-1 in the ACC. The Wolfpack have won four of the last five meetings between these two including a 28-14 win last season as a 3 point favorite. NC State is a 3 point favorite in this one. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC.
The Florida State Seminoles are 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the ACC. They are ranked No. 25 in the latest power rankings. However, they are coming off their first loss of the season, a 31-21 defeat at the hands of Wake Forest at home. They were 6 point favorites over the now 15th ranked Demon Deacons. The Seminoles were getting pushed around for most of the game as they trailed 28-7 in the third quarter. But they scored two touchdowns to cut it to 28-21, but that was as close as they would get, as Wake Forest tacked on a late field goal for insurance to walk away with a 31-21 win.

The two teams were similar in total yards, but Wake Forest was able to extend drives, going 10 for 18 on third down conversions while FSU was just 4 for 11. This resulted in 7 more first downs for the Demon Deacons. The other big problem for the Seminoles was penalties. They had 11 penalties for 96 yards compared to 4 for 40 yards for Wake Forest. They also lost the turnover battle 1-0. Quarterback Jordan Davis was 25 for 35 for 281 yards and three touchdowns with 0 picks. Mycah Pittman caught 5 passes for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns while Johnny Wilson caught 6 passes for 85 yards and 1 touchdown. Treshaun Ward ran for 87 yards on 6.7 yards per carry. The Seminoles are a little banged up with some injuries on defense and the offensive line.
