An ACC battle in the state of Florida takes place on Wednesday night when the Florida State Seminoles (10-6, 4-1 ACC) travel to take on the Miami Hurricanes (12-4, 3-2 ACC). Florida State just grabbed a strong road win over Notre Dame 67-58, covering as 1.5-point road favorites. Miami also won on the road, defeating Virginia Tech 75-71 as 1.5-point road underdogs. The ACC is always a competitive conference, and Florida State has been a surprise team near the top of the conference standings. The Seminoles are 4-1 in league play, tied with three other teams with the same record, and they all trail 5-0 North Carolina. FSU won three games at home over Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, then went on the road to defeat Notre Dame. They utilized a balanced scoring attack against the Irish, as they were led by guard Primo Spears with 13 points off the bench in the win.
