Florida Panthers vs. Vegas Golden Knights Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 6-5-2023

The Florida Panthers face the Vegas Golden Knights in Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final. The Panthers were going toe-to-toe in Game One but stumbled in the third period to drop the first game of the series. The Golden Knights pulled away with a 5-2 victory in the first game with three unanswered goals. The Panthers hope to even up the series while the Golden Knights will look to take a 2-0 series lead and Game Two should be a great one.

The Panthers struggled in the first game of the series and hope their offense can improve after scoring only two goals and failing to score in the third period. Anthony Duclair, Anton Lundell, and Eric Staal scored two goals and one assist but the rest of the offense struggled. The hope is that Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe can step up as they have combined for 15 goals and 21 assists in the playoffs but failed to record a point in Game One.

The offense struggled but the defense, which has allowed only 48 goals in the playoffs, let the Panthers down, allowing five goals in the game. Aaron Ekblad and Gustav Forsling led the top pairing but the rest of the unit struggled, allowing the Golden Knights to find open shots on the net with ease. In addition, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky struggled in the game, allowing four goals on only 33 shots.
