The Panthers are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.16 goals per game. Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart, and Carter Verhaeghe have scored 67 goals and 80 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennett, and Evan Rodrigues have combined for 29 goals and 59 assists while defensemen Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Gustav Forsling have added 15 goals and 26 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Panthers, allowing only 2.64 goals per game. Gustav Forsling and Aaron Ekblad have combined for 7.4 defensive point shares and 95 blocked shots while Oliver Ekman-Larsson Niko Mikkola, and Dmitry Kulikov have combined for 5.7 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has stepped up with a .908 save percentage and a 2.55 goals-against average on 911 shots with 4.0 goals saved above average.
