Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart, and Eetu Luostarinen have combined for 44 goals and 59 assists while defensemen Brandon Montour and Gustav Forsling have added 17 goals and 57 assists from the point to put the offense over the top.
The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.44 goals per game. Gustav Forsling and Joshua Mahura have combined for 5.3 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has struggled with a .903 save percentage and a 3.13 goal s-against average on 991 shots with -2.6 goals saved above average.
