Two teams, both playing the second contest of their separate back-to-back sets, will face off against each other in California, where the local Anaheim Ducks (7th in Pacific Division) will be playing host to the Florida Panthers (6th in Atlantic).

The Florida Panthers (6-5-1) went 1-2-0 on their current four-date road trek after registering their fourth defeat in the past six outings (2-4-0) following a 5-4 setback against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena last night. The Cats took two separate leads in the first and second periods before needing to tie the game on two occasions in the final third, only for the hosts to break a 4-4 tie with 3:18 remaining on the clock. Carter Verhaeghe (7 goals, 11 points this year) found the back of the net twice for Florida, which has won just one of its past six road fixtures (1-5-0).

Playing in his 600th NHL game, goalie Sergei Bobrovsky (3-4-1 for the season with a 3.29 GAA and a .897 save percentage) stopped 34 shots yesterday. The Panthers, meanwhile, are scoring the 14th lowest quantity of snipes per game this season (3.08), while conceding the 14th highest amount defensively (3.25).
