Florida Atlantic vs. Kansas State Prop Picks: High-Scoring March Madness Showdown Incomingiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Fresh off a record-breaking performance, Markquis Nowell will try to lead his Kansas State Wildcats over the Florida Atlantic Owls. Here are our best Florida Atlantic vs. Kansas State March Madness prop bets based on the top NCAAB odds.

In a region that featured numerous blue bloods and Power 5 teams, it is the Owls and Wildcats who are still dancing. The Owls defeated the Tennessee Volunteers in the Sweet 16 with a solid 3-point shooting effort in the second half. They had three players in double figures.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats got an all-time performance from point guard Markquis Nowell. He scored 20 points and recorded an NCAA-record 19 assists all while playing most of the second half on a bum ankle. These are two teams that love to score the basketball. Does that mean we're in for a lot of Overs cashing?

Here are our best Florida Atlant ic vs. Kansas State March Madness prop bets (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Florida Atlantic vs. Kansas State prop picks

We were all over Nowell's Over in the Sweet 16, and there is no reason to doubt him against the Owls. Throw out his season-long statistics and just look at how he's been playing in this tournament. We saw numerous alley-oops in the last game, and there are going to be many more against an undersized Owls team.

To get this number at even money is an absolute steal. If the oddsmakers don't want to catch up to what Nowell is doing, then we may as well reap the benefits. Nowell is playing on another level right now, and in what is sure to be a high-scoring game, the Owls aren't going to stop him from getting into double figures.

We're disregarding the Owls' last offensive performance the same way we're disregarding Nowell's season-long statistics. The Owls were pitted against one of the best defensive teams in the entire country, so it was far from surprising to see them score with any type of consistency. Even with such a tough matchup, Owls guard Johnell Davis scored 15.

Davis was just 3-for-9 from the field in the game, but he did knock down nine free throws to help his total. Against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, he scored 29 points on 10-16 shooting from the field. The Wildcats' defense is better than that of the Knights but is a serious step below the Volunteers'. The Wildcats allow 75.7 points per game. Getting this above +100, is another great deal.

Finding a third player prop for this game is actually quite difficult. Each of these teams is fantastic at defending the 3-point line, so there's no value there. And both teams' best players are seeing severely inflated lines for their point totals.

Therefore, we're going to go against what will surely be a popular pick and take Wildcats forward Nae'Qwan Tomlin to go Under 5.5 rebounds. His Over for this line has a price of -140, which on the surface doesn't seem too bad, but once you really break it down, it's way too expensive.

Tomlin had just seven rebounds in 35 minutes against the Michigan State Spartans and jus t six against the Kentucky Wildcats. In his previous five games, he went over five rebounds just one time. The Owls are a very pesky rebounding team that just outboarded the Volunteers 40-36. Their scrappiness is going to pull a few rebounds away from Tomlin and keep him Under this total.
