Florida at LSU – 1/10/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Florida Gators and LSU Tigers face off on Tuesday in a college basketball showdown at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. When these two teams faced off last January it was LSU that secured the 64-58 victory.

Florida comes into this game with an 8-7 record and they have gone 6-9 against the spread. In the last game against Georgia, the offense scored 82 points and they ended up winning seven points. Kyle Lofton finished with 18 points, three assists, and one rebound. Florida is averaging 74.7 points while their defense is giving up 67.2 points per game. The offense is ranked 127th, and they need the offense to run up the score here. Colin Castleton is averaging 14.7 points while shooting 48.8 percent from the field.

LSU comes into this game with a 12-3 record overall and they have gone 7-8 against the spread. In the last game against Texas A&M, LSU’s offense only scored 56 points and they lost by 13 points. Two games ago against Kentucky they were defeated 74-71. LSU is averaging 70.9 points while their defense is giving up 64.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 62nd in the league and they need the offense to get back on the right track here. If the offense is good, this is a game that LSU really should win, and anything less would be disappointing. Forward KJ Williams is averaging 18.2 points while shooting 54.9 percent from the field and 49.2 percent from behind the three point line.
