One of the SEC's peak rivalries will receive another chapter when Florida and Georgia collide in Jacksonville on CBS this weekend. Georgia leads the all-time series 54-44, but each school has impressively claimed seven of the last 14 victories.
Florida is 4-3 after losing to LSU at the Swamp in Week 7. The Gators had no answer for LSU QB Jayden Daniels, as he stung them for six total touchdowns, leading the Tigers to a 45-35 win. Florida is scoring 31.4 points per game, while passing for 217.2 yards per game (174th), and rushing for 213.2 ypg (30th). The Gator defense is allowing 28.1 points per game.
Anthony Richardson will lead the Gators into Jacksonville on the heels of another solid, yet losing effort. The sophomore quarterback eclipse the 100-yard mark on the ground for the first time this season, but couldn’t keep up with LSU last time out. He’ll face an uphill battle with the UGA defense, but his dual threat ability will at least be able to extend a few places. Richardson has passed for 1,367 yards with six touchdowns to seven interceptions, while rushing for 395 yards and six more scores.
