First look: Texas at Baylor odds and lines

The Texas Longhorns (3-0) travel to meet the Baylor Bears (1-2) on Saturday at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we look at Texas vs. Baylor odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. : SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Longhorns had one of the signature wins of the season, posting a 34-24 victory at Alabama on Sept. 9 as 7-point underdogs as the Over (53) cashed. Texas had a bit of a hangover Saturday at the DKR in Austin, and it was tied 10-10 against Wyoming after 3 quarters before pulling away for the 31-10 victory.

The Bears have struggled mightily, falling 42-31 in the opener against Texas State, while losing starting QB Blake Shapen to an MCL injury. He is a huge question mark for Saturday’s game, as originally he was expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Baylor won its 1st game of the season against Long Island of the FCS 30-7, but it came nowhere near covering the 45-point number.

Texas is No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
