The Seahawks got into the playoffs with the help of the Detroit Lions, who took down the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night after the Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams 19-16 in overtime. Had the Packers beaten the Lions in the final Week 18 game, the Seahawks would have been eliminated.
The 49ers are cruising into the postseason, winning their last 10 games after starting the season 3-4. The 49ers blew out the Arizona Cardinals 38-13 covering a double-digit spread and it was their 7th win by 10-plus points since Week 8. San Francisco ended the season with the No. 1 defense in points and yards allowed, as well as the 5th-ranked offense in total yards despite being led by 3rd-string QB Brock Purdy.
