The San Francisco 49ers (1-0) and the Minnesota Vikings (1-0) meet in' Week 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at 49ers vs. Vikings odds from BetMGM Sportsbook before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.
The 49ers were without RB Christian McCaffrey for Week 1 due to Achilles’ and calf injuries, but RB Jordan Mason stepped in for his 1st NFL start, and his 1st NFL 100-yard game. Mason ended up with 147 rushing yards and a score in a 32-19 victory over the New York Jets, which was a Scorigami, by the way.
There are reports McCaffrey might sit again in Week 2 due to the artificial turf at U.S. Bank Stadium, so that’s something to watch during the week.
The Vikings paddled the hapless New York Giants 28-6 on the road Sunday in their opener, as QB Sam Darnold tossed 2 TDs, including 1 to superstar WR Justin Jefferson. Unlike the 49ers, the Vikings cashed low on the total in Week 1. Now, Darnold makes his home debut for the Vikings against his 2023 team.
