The New England Patriots (1-2) and San Francisco 49ers (1-2) meet Sunday in Week 4. Kickoff from Levi’s Stadium is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Patriots vs. 49ers odds'from'BetMGM Sportsbook'before making our expert'NFL picks and predictions'later in the week.
The Patriots had a tough outing Thursday night, losing 24-3 to the New York Jets. The failed to cover the 6.5-point spread, and the game stayed under the 39-point total. QB Jacoby Brissett had a rough night, barely hitting 100 passing yards, and the entire offense only managed 139 total yards. It was a forgettable performance from New England’s offense, to say the least.
The 49ers let a 10-point lead slip away in the 4th quarter and lost 27-24 to the division rival LA Rams. Even without key playmakers RB Christian McCaffrey, WR Deebo Samuel, and TE George Kittle, QB Brock Purdy still impressed, going 22-of-30 for 292 yards and 3 TDs. WR Jauan Jennings had a career day, catching 11 passes for 175 yards and all 3 of Purdy’s TD throws.
