The Hurricanes were roughed up at home by rival Florida State by a 45-3 count on Nov. 5, slipping under .500. Miami did the roughing up this past weekend, toppling Georgia Tech 35-14 in Atlanta to win outright as a 2-point underdog. The 35 points were the most for Miami against an FBS opponent this season.
The Tigers also did a little bouncing back, topping Louisville 31-16 as 6.5-point favorites after a 35-14 setback at Notre Dame the previous weekend. Clemson improved to 5-0 SU at home, but it is just 2-3 ATS in those outings.
