The Rams came back from their Week 7 bye and were blown out by the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, 31-14. It dropped their record below .500 for the 2nd time in Sean McVay’s career, sinking the Rams to 3rd place in the NFC West. It has been a difficult season for Los Angeles, fielding one of the worst offenses in the league. Complicating matters worse, star WR Cooper Kupp left the Week 8 game with an ankle injury.
The Buccaneers have been equally underwhelming, losing 3 straight games coming into this home contest against the Rams. They’re also third in their division and have the worst rushing offense in the NFL, averaging just 62 yards per game on the ground. In their last game, the Buccaneers lost to the Ravens, 27-22.
