The Bengals handily defeated the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in the divisional round 27-10 as 6-point road underdogs. That followed the Bengals’ 24-17 home win over the Baltimore Ravens as 7.5-point favorites on wild card weekend. The Bengals have won 10 straight games, going 8-1-1 ATS during that stretch which includes a 27-24 Week 13 home win against the Chiefs as 2.5-point underdogs.
The Chiefs have won 6 straight games (2-4 ATS during that span) and are coming off a 27-20 home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, although they failed to cover as 10-point favorites. The status of QB Patrick Mahomes will have to be monitored as the MVP candidate suffered a high ankle sprain during the 1st quarter against the Jaguars. Mahomes managed to finish the game, but did exit for a short time in order to receive treatment on his ankle.
