FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Rocket Mortgage Classic 2023 at Detroit Golf Club

PGA Tour players head to Detroit, Michigan this week to get ready for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club.

Let's take a look at three golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Rocket Mortgage Classic 2023 Fantasy Picks

We had Fowler in our sleeper category for the Travelers Championship last week and he delivered yet another solid performance. finishing T13. He no longer gets the luxury of being considered a sleeper as his return to his old form seems more and more legitimate by the week.

Fowler has now finished in the top 20 in nine of his last 10 outings, a stretch that also includes four top-10 finishes. Fowler missed the cut in this event last year, but back in 2020 he grabbed a 12th-place finish. Expect Fowler to keep the train rolling with another impressive performance this week.

Tom Kim has had times this year where he has played like one of the top golfers in the world. He has nine top-25 finishes and five top-10 finishes this season already. He placed T6 at the U.S. Open just two weeks ago against the toughest field on some of the toughest course conditions. Detroit Golf Club won't challenge him as much as LACC and neither will the rest of this field.

He has only played in this event once before, finishing seventh last season. His ball striking has been the main catalyst for his success, but he also ranks No. 6 in Driving accuracy this season. While his putting has held him back at times, coming back to a place where he's had past success should get his short stick back on track. Expect another strong showing from Kim this week.

Rocket Mortgage Classic Sleepers

Alex Noren comes into this event having made the cut in two of his last three starts after a rough stretch. He placed T4 the last time he played in this event in 2021. His short game has kept him in tournaments this year, as he ranks No. 7 in Strokes Gained (SG): Around The Green and has been fantastic in save situations out of the bunker (ranking No. 10) and from the rough around the green (ranking No. 5).

If his ball striking can catch up with his short game, Noren could surpass expectations this week in Detroit.
