FanDuel Fantasy Golf Picks for the Cadence Bank Houston Open 2022 at Memorial Park Golf Course

The PGA Tour is preparing for its next event,'Cadence Bank Houston Open'at
Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, TX.

The field is a bit top-heavy with stars like Scottie Scheffler and Tony Finau, but this is defin itely not a cant-miss event for the game's stars.

Let's take a look at three guys to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Cadence Bank Houston Open 2022 Fantasy Picks

Sam Burns Fantasy

Sam Burns has played at memorial twice in his professional career, finishing 7th in this event in both 2020 and 2021. Now he comes back as one of the favorites because of that. While he still has to best Scottie Scheffler, the runner-up in this event last year, Burns is in a great position to do that. He grab bed a T7 in his last start at THE CJ CUP and comes into this event as one of the most talented golfers in the field and a great resume on a course he's clearly comfortable on.

Russell Henley Fantasy

Russell Henley is playing some great golf right now. He is coming off a win last week at the World Wide Technology Open, and now heads to an event and a course he's had success on. While he did win this event in 2017, it was played on a different course. When it comes to Memorial park though, Henley has two career starts here. In 2020, he finished No. 29 at the Vivant Houston Open, and in 2021 he finished No. 7 at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open. Expect him to remain hot this week.

Cadence Bank Houston Open Sleepers 2022

Joel Dahmen Fantasy

Like Henley, Dahmen comes into this even on the heels of an impressive performance at last week's World Wide Technology Championship. He finished T3 in that event. He's also had a great start to the 2022-23 season, grabbing top-16 finishes in three of his five starts and on a string of four consecutive made cuts. When it comes to Memorial Park, Dahmen's history is brief here, but in his lone career start on this course at the 2021 Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open, he grabbed a 5th-place finish, even better than Henley. Dahmen ranks No. 33 in Strokes Gained (SG): Off-The-Tee and No. 11 in SG: Tee-To-Green . Two numbers that should be important this week, especially if he can work out the kinks with his short stick.
