Falcons vs Bengals Prediction, Odds & Best Bet for Week 7

Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season is here, bringing even more exciting football matchups. One game to look forward to is one between the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams are 3-1 in their last four games while owning matching 3-3 records on the season, meaning a win is absolutely crucial this weekend.

Can the Falcons continue defying expectations by improving to 4-3 with a victory? Or will the Bengals find out a way to win in front of a packed crowd at Paycor Stadium?

Falcons vs Bengals Odds

According to FanDuel Sportsbook's'NFL odds, the Bengals are a clear -300 favorite on the moneyline (6.5-point spread) in a game with an over/under of 47.5.

What should NFL fans expect in this matchup, and where can bettors find value?

Falcons vs Bengals Prediction and Best Bet

The Falcons managed to find a way to pull out a 28-14 win over the San Francisco 49ers last week. A big part of that was due to Atlanta owning a solid run defense this season, but the same can't be said about its secondary, which allows the second-most passing yards in the NFL.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, the Bengals own one of the most dangerous aerial attacks. Cincinnati has averaged 301.5 passing yards per game at home this season, ranking third-best. I full expect Joe Burrow to get the most out of the likes of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins this weekend, especially after the momentum that came with last week's victory against the New Orleans Saints.

The Bengals' playmakers should help them win this game. As great of a story as the Falcons' success has been this season, they don't have the talent to go blow-for-blow with the Bengals in an aerial shootout.

In addition to taking them as the outright winners, I'm backing the Bengals to cover the 6.5-point spread. The Falcons might be 6-0 against the spread this season, but their Cinderella tale is bound to come to an end soon. With the talent that they have on both sides of the ball, the Bengals are good enough to win this by more than a touchdown.
