Liverpool ML over Nottingham Forest (-490), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Liverpool players and fans are thrilled with the start Arne Slot has made at Anfield and the Reds’ title challenge should be sustained by victory over Nottingham Forest. Liverpool have made a magnificent start to the season, winning their first 3 games comfortably without conceding a goal. A 3-0 success against Manchester United at Old Trafford last time out has made Slot an immediate hero with Liverpool supporters. Forest have failed to score more than 1 goal in any of their 4 matches this season, including their EFL Cup elimination at the hands of Newcastle. Expect another routine win for Liverpool.

Manchester City ML over Brentford (-650), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Pep Guardiola will be more than satisfied with how well his team have started their EPL title defense. It is not as if they have had easy fixtures, either, with cosy road wins at Chelsea and West Ham being hugely impressive feats. Brentford at home should be a walk in the park compared to those road trips. The gulf in class between City and Brentford was further underlined recently with the Bees having to sell their star forward Ivan Toney. Manchester City should have no issue securing another win here.
