It has been a difficult year for the Elon Phoenix as they are 2-16 overall and 0-5 in the Colonial. They are coming off a 78-60 thrashing at the hands of No. 22 ranked Charleston on Saturday. Elon actually outshot Charleston, 43% to 38% but Charleston just chucked a lot more threes. They took 45 threes and made 15 of them. Not a great percentage, but they made 9 more than Elon just on sheer volume.

Oh yeah, and Elon had 20 turnovers to just 6 for Charleston. You are not going to win many games coughing it up 20 times. Max Mackinnon had a good game with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Zac Ervin added 11 points while Torrence Weston chipped in with 10 points. Sean Halloran dished out 7 assists with 4 points. Elon is ranked 348th in the country by KenPom. They are 333rd in offensive efficiency and 334th in defensive efficiency.
