The Elon Phoenix and the Delaware Blue Hens will have a Colonial Athletic Association matchup on Saturday afternoon inside of the Bob Carpenter Center. The Phoenix are 2-12 (0-1) this season and are on a four-game losing streak after a 62-50 road loss on Thursday against the Drexler Dragons. The Blue Hens are 8-6 (0-1) thus far and are on a two-game losing streak after an 87-73 home loss on Thursday against the Hofstra Pride. These teams end the regular season against one another as well so this should be an exciting matchup. 

The Elon Phoenix have been struggling as of late and are coming off a 62-50 road loss against the Drexler Dragons. They struggled in the second half as they were only able to put up 23 points. They shot the ball decently well as they were 19-of-49 (38.8 percent) overall, 5-of-15 (33.3 percent) from the three, and 14 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Sean Halloran led the team as in 34 minutes he finished with 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, four steals, and three turnovers. Defensively, they did a decent job as they allowed 42.3 percent from the floor and 35.5 percent from beyond the arc here. Elon did a decent job as they finished with eight steals and three blocks throughout the game. 

The Elon Phoenix are not doing too  well this season as they are 294th i n the nation with 67.6 points per game thus far and shooting 42 percent from the floor while averaging 12.9 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 74.1 points per game, which is 308th in the country. They need to improve with 1.6 blocks and 7.1 steals per game thus far.
