The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 16 goals in the series including seven goals in the last two games. Nurse, Bouchard, and Mattias Ekholm have led the top two pairings but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing the Kings to control the puck and find open shots on the net. Additionally, goaltender Stuart Skinner has struggled in the net, allowing 15 goals on 129 shots.
