The Edmonton Oilers face the Colorado Avalanche with both teams looking to improve their playoff position in the final few games of the season. The Oilers have a 48-23-9 record and with seven wins in a row, they have leaped into second place in the Pacific Division. The Avalanche have a 49-24-6 record and with five consecutive wins, they have jumped into first place in the Central Divison.
