Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-30-2022

The Edmonton Oilers face the Chicago Blackhawks with both teams looking to improve from slow starts to the season. The Oilers have a 12-10 record but with back-to-back wins are in the middle of the Pacific Division. The Blackhawks have a 6-11-4 record and with only one win in their last 10 games have fallen to the bottom of the Pacific Division. Both teams are looking to improve in their divisions and the Western Conference and the upcoming game looks to be a good one as result.

The Oilers are having a promising season behind an offense that is scoring 3.36 goals per game including eight goals in the last two games. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have scored 30 goals and 42 assists as two of the league's best scorers but the entire offense has stepped up this season. Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Warren Foegele have combined for 21 goals and 29 assists while defensemen Tyson Barrie and Darnell Nurse have added seven goals and 18 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.55 goals per game. Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci have combined for 2.6 defensive point shares and 74 blocked shots but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to easily carry the puck into the offensive zone and find open shots on the net. In addition, goaltender Jack Campbell has struggled in the net wi th a .875 save percentage and a 4.04 goals-against average on 361 shots.
