The Eastern Michigan Eagles will go on the road as they head to University Arena on Tuesday night as they take on the Western Michigan Broncos in a Mid-American Conference matchup. The Eagles are a putrid 4-11 (1-1) and are coming off a 62-56 home win over the Central Michigan Chippewas on Sunday. The Broncos are 4-11 (0-2) so far and are riding a three-game losing streak aft er a 102-74 road loss against the Toledo Rockets on Friday. These programs also will play on February 21 so this will be an interesting matchup here.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles have been struggling, but were able to pick up a 62-56 home victory against the Central Michigan Chippewas. They dominated in the second half as they outscored Central Michigan 44-26. They struggled shooting the ball as they were 20-of-54 (37 percent) overall, 3-of-22 (13.6 percent) from the three, and 26 free-throw attempts. Sophomore forward Emoni Bates led the team as in 39 minutes he finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, three steals, and three turnovers. Defensively, they need to continue what they are doing as they allowed 37.3 percent from the floor and 27.8 from deep here. Eastern Michigan did incredibly well as they finished with 15 steals and five blocks throughout the game. 

The Eastern Michigan Broncos are doing decently well this season as they are 163rd in the nation with 72.7 points per game thus far and shooting 42.8 percent from the floor and are averaging a low 9.4 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 79.8 points per game, which is 355th in the country. They need to improve with 2.3 blocks and 7.2 steals per game thus far.
