The Eastern Michigan Eagles (6-16, 8-13 ATS, 11-10 O/U) battle the Ball State Cardinals (15-7, 11-9 ATS, 11-9 O/U) in a MAC clash on Friday evening. The Eagles collected a home victory against Ohio in their previous action. The Cardinals defeated Bowling Green on Tuesday night. The Cardinals went 2-0 against the Eagles last season.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles are seeking a third straight win. They were 1-6 in MAC play at one point but have since rallied with back-to-back wins. Eastern Michigan posted a 74-69 road win against Miami Ohio and was marked as huge 8.5-point dogs in a 90-79 home win against a strong Ohio team on Tuesday to climb to 3-6 in conference play. The Eagles have covered the spread in three consecutive games.

Emoni Bates is hot, accumulating at least 19 points in two out of his last three performances including 43 points in a recent loss against Toledo. The sophomore forward has increased his season average to 20.3 PPG on the season. Tyson Acuff recorded a stellar 29-point night on Tuesday. The junior guard has logged an average of 13.1 PPG on 42% shooting. Noah Farkkakhan is clicking, sinking at least 20 points in two of his last four games. The sophomore guard is third in team scoring with 12.8 PPG along w ith 4.1 RPG. 

The Eagles are placed 317th in the country in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are a poor 2-8 on the road this season including losses to WMU and Akron. Eastern Michigan has scored at least 74 points in three consecutive games and is averaging 73.1 points on the season, marking them 152nd. They are conceding an average of 81 points, pegging them 359th.
