The BYU Cougars are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and will be joining the Big 12 Conference next season. On Saturday night, BYU surrendered the final 38 points of a 41-14 road loss against Liberty. The Cougars (4-4) held an 11-point lead after one quarter and were gashed for 300 rushing yards on 48 attempts. BYU was outgained by an alarming 547-258 margin and allowed Liberty to possess the ball for 39 plus minutes.
BYU WR Puka Nacua caught seven passes for 114 yards and scored the first touchdown of the game from 46 yards out. Isaac Rex reeled in a 20 yard touchdown pass from Jaren Hall, who finished with 187 passing yards for the Cougars.
