Philadelphia opened as an underdog, but that didn't last long

The Philadelphia Eagles opened at +1.5 in their Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, but that line quickly swung to -2.5. After what we saw multiple line swings happen leading up to the AFC Championship Game between the Chiefs and Bengals, it will be fascinating to see what happens in the two weeks leading up to the big game.'

After going 14-3 in the regular season, Philadelphia absolutely dominated in their first two playoff matchups, beating the Giants 38-7 and then the 49ers 31-7. However, both of those games were in front of their home crowd and both teams were far inferior, especially after Brock Purdy got injured early in the NFC Championship and San Fran couldn't throw the ball downfield.

While the Chiefs had a bumpier ride to this spot, having beaten the Jaguars 27-20 and then the Bengals 23-20, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have won a Super Bowl together already. That experience should absolutely come into play when it comes to the pressure of playing in this atmosphere.
